Limite şi interferenţe
CH50 poate fi utilizat pentru evaluarea integrităţii căii clasice (prezenţa componentele C1-C9), dar
pentru monitorizarea specifică a modificărilor concentraţiilor componentelor complementului sunt
necesare determinări suplimentare de C3 şi C4.
Factorii căii alternative nu pot fi detectaţi şi din acest motiv este necesară efectuarea unor teste
specifice de determinare a nivelelor individuale de componente ale complementului.
Deoarece acesta este un test funcţional, rezultatele sunt dependente de modul de transport şi
depozitare a probei .
