·    Mastocitoză  sistemică,  urticaria  pigmentosa  (o  formă  pediatrică  de  proliferare  mastocitară  limitată,  cu
                          localizare cutanată) – număr crescut de bazofile şi precursori mastocitari în sânge.
                      ·    Leucemie bazofilică.
                      ·    Boală Hodgkin.
                      ·    Anemie hemolitică cronică, postsplenectomie.
                      ·    PostradiaŃii ionizante.
                      ·    InfecŃii: tuberculoză, varicelă, gripă.
                      ·    Injectarea de particule străine.
                      ·    Hipotiroidism.
                  2. Bazopenia: <20/µL:
                       ·    InfecŃii în faza acută.
                       ·    ReacŃii de stres (sarcină, infarct miocardic).
                       ·    După tratament prelungit cu steroizi, chimioterapie, iradiere.
                       ·    AbsenŃa ereditară a bazofilelor.
                       ·    Febra reumatică acută la copii.
                       ·    Hipertiroidism.
                    3. PrezenŃa de precursori mastocitari în sânge:
                       ·    Urticarie, astm.
                       ·    Şoc anafilactic.
                       ·    Mastocitoză sistemică, urticaria pigmentosa, leucemia cu mastocite.
                       ·    Macroglobulinemie, limfoame cu invazie medulară.
                       ·    InsuficienŃă corticosuprarenaliană
                       ·    Boli hepatice şi renale cronice.
                       ·    Osteoporoză  4;6;8;19 .
                  InterferenŃe medicamentoase:
                           Creşteri ale bazofilelor: desipramină, paroxetin, tretinoin, triazolam.

                           Scăderi ale bazofilelor: procainamidă, tiopental .
